Marlton, NJ (Feb. 28, 2025) – Legacy Treatment Services’ Board of Trustees proudly announces the appointment of Tinesha Banks, MPH, DrPH, as the organization’s new President. Dr. Banks brings extensive experience in nonprofit executive leadership, strategic planning, and program development.
“With her deep commitment to improving lives and a proven track record of driving organizational transformation, Dr. Banks is poised to lead Legacy into its next chapter of growth and innovation,” said Michel J. Merkx, Chair of the Legacy Board of Trustees. “We are confident that under her leadership, Legacy will continue to thrive and expand its impact.”
Dr. Banks previously served as Executive Vice President/Chief Quality & Performance Officer for Woods System of Care, a population health management organization that serves more than 55,000 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and behavioral or medical complexities across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Legacy Treatment Services is one of the 20+ organizations that are affiliated with Woods System of Care.
Christine Kirkbride, who has been serving as interim CEO at Legacy will transition into the role of Chief Program Officer. Her tenure as interim leader was marked by enhancing current and future significant organizational advancements. As Chief Program Officer, Kirkbride will focus on programmatic operations.
