The partnership will increase access to behavioral health services for individuals in New Jersey and boost access to services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism.

LANGHORNE, PA (Dec. 18, 2024) – Woods System of Care and Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services are excited to announce that their affiliation has been approved by the State of New Jersey and is now official. This partnership will now open the door to greatly expanded behavioral health care as well as services for individuals with intellectual and development disabilities and autism in New Jersey and enhance Woods’ multiple programs in Pennsylvania. Together,  Woods and  Bridgeway will provide comprehensive integrated care services to an estimated 50,000 individuals in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Woods System of Care, headquartered in Langhorne, Pa., currently comprises more than 20 affiliated companies and joint ventures in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is on a trajectory of strong growth driven by the expanded need for its services. It provides lifetime integrated care for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, and /or mental health challenges who also have complex medical and genetic conditions.  These services include medical, dental, and behavioral care, wellness, education, housing, workforce development, and a wide range of social services.

Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services, headquartered in Union, New Jersey, serves more than 6,000 people each year with crisis intervention programs, psychiatric screening, outpatient counseling, substance use treatment, supportive housing and education, integrated case management, and career services in 10 counties in northern New Jersey.

Bridgeway will benefit from the integrated management services provided by Woods, especially Woods’ highly regarded strategic, operational, legal, and programmatic guidance. Woods, in turn, will further expand its current footprint throughout the Garden State, grow its behavioral health and IDD/A programs, and gain expertise from Bridgeway’s staff and leadership.
